A volunteer writes: Adopted a while ago, and returned due to ‘cost’, Snookie comes with a glowing resume. She’s been with children age 2 and older and is relaxed and playful with them, she’s good with other dogs and lived with another pit bull, is housetrained when walked regularly (2-3x per day), knows ‘sit’ and ‘come’, is crate trained, her favorite toys are balls and squeaky toys, and she likes to play fetch and tug. Snookie and I played fetch and she’s a gently player, running after the ball, nosing it around a bit and bringing it back for another throw. Her eyes sparkle as she waits, her tail wags in anticipation. I can take the ball out of her mouth, she doesn’t guard it, preferring instead to let me throw it. Good girl! She showed off her housetraining skills the moment we were out the door, she’s sweet and calm and as we walked to the park it was clear she wanted to meet everyone we passed – both two and four legged. Calm, gentle and very ladylike, Snookie is hoping to find a new person or family to take care of. Ask to meet her when you visit.
