a volunteer writes: Heed this advice. Don’t walk, RUN to the Brooklyn Care Center and ask to meet Preston. Preston is perfection in the form of a dog. From his looks to his personality, there is nothing I don’t like about him. Preston’s eyes seem to literally glow as they peer out of his big mushy face. His ears lay flat and are gigantic, and though quite underweight, Preston is a rather large dog. He walks by my side with ease, never pulling on the leash and is very intuned with me as his handler. Preston seems very housetrained and eliminates as soon as we go outside. Preston has the demeanor of a highly desired family pet. He is calm and sociable. He loves to be cuddled and when I sit on a stoop, he lays his head gently in my lap and relishes being pet. He is amiable and friendly toward other dogs that we pass. As we return to the care center, nearly every person we pass on the way back comments on not only his stunning looks, but how well behaved he is too. So whether by train, plane or automobile, get to the Brooklyn Care Center as fast as you can and make Preston’s acquaintance!
