A volunteer writes: I first met Loscious as he returned from a walk and was relaxing in the hallway surrounded by volunteers and staff who came to meet him. Gracious and easy it’s like this big boy was “holding court”, surrounded by adoring fans. We met, we chatted and he then got up to come with me but not before giving the volunteer who walked him a sweet kiss. Such a gentleman!!! He’s a slow pokey walker, and not a fan of the cold but I didn’t have a coat large enough for him. He’s likely housetrained, can sit when asked but has a bit of a hard time going into a sit, and takes his reward treat gently. Other dogs were playing in an adjoining pen and he watched from our side, his little nubby tail wagging from time to time. In his own group he was a bit stiff, but having been brought in with his housemate Biggie (A1059436) he may not have been exposed much to other
dogs. He’s easy, gentle and calm, and after our time together hopped into his kennel and lay down to rest. This must be a difficult adjustment for this boy, and he’s doing the best he can with it. Sweet Loscious is hoping for a soft (large) bed, a gentle hand to pet him, and a new place to call home.
