A volunteer writes: Remember Ace Ventura the Pet Detective? Well, meet Biggie, the Pet Detective!! Leaving no scent unsniffed, Biggie explores our backyard pen, taking his time discovering all the unique smells. He marks where he feels appropriate, wags his stubby tail hello at a dog in an adjoining pen, and continues on his mission of exploration. Biggie joined us with his housemate Loscious (A1059437) due to the personal problems of his owner, and he’s doing his best to figure it all out. He pulls hard on the leash so will benefit from some leash training and/or a harness, is likely housetrained and was tail waggy friendly to everyone who stopped to say hello. In the backyard he comes when called, and when finished with his investigation lays his head in my lap for some petting. Heading back upstairs in the elevator he leans against a staff member for some petting instantly making a new friend. He’s quiet and calm and looking for his retirement home. Let’s make it happen.
