11/11/2015 WEB MEMO
A volunteer writes: Bob and Billy, two sisters or a mother and a daughter were found abandoned in an empty lot. Bob does not like her kennel and barks in there. She wants out, big time…. I show her the leash, tell her that I love her….and Bob finds herself out in the street in no time. Relieving herself is her first business… She is all relaxed now and ready for her walk around the block. She is rather thin, her ribs are showing, her nails are so long…Her coat is beautiful, though, latte and silky. She likes food but is not greedy and takes treats quite politely from my hand. Bob looks so much like Billy. There is definitively a family bond between them. She is just a little bigger and of a different coloring. Bob enjoys her free time in a pen. She comes when I call her and poses her head in my lap for caresses. She is very sweet. She runs briefly after a tennis ball but she definitively prefers to stay by my side. She appears less needy than Billy but I can see in her eyes that she is happy to be with a human…Bob and Billy, two uncared for little chaps need you. Lets prove them that the world can be a better place. Come and meet them both at the Manhattan Care Center and give them the caring and loving home they have been waiting so long for..
