11/10/2015 WEB MEMO
A volunteer writes: So gorgeous, TJ took my breath away! Stunningly brindle tapering off into a mask of rich dark chocolate brown, and his soft amber eyes… well, just wow! What I didn’t notice until I reviewed my photos is the little itty bitty “beard” of white on his chin. So cute. Likely housetrained, TJ’s first order of business was his business, and after that job was done we’re off to the park. He pulls a bit on leash, wants to meet other dogs we pass, didn’t mind being tethered for some photos and posed like a rock star. Off leash in the yard he showed off his ‘sit’ and ‘paw’ in exchange for treats which he took gently. He’s a bit too thin and is being fed an extra meal daily to help him gain some weight. TJ loved playing with a ball, bringing it back to chomp in my lap and happily tossing it around. I love a dog who can amuse himself! I had to leave our pen for a minute and when I came back he greeted me like I had been gone forever, tail wagging happily, play bowing his greeting — what a great dog! TJ is looking for a fun, active home. He has a soft playful energy, an affectionate personality and is hoping his lifetime partner will walk in the door today.
