BEHAVIOR NOTE: 11./1:
It has been reported since his intake that Bear has been difficult to return to his kennel after a walk. He balks, throws his body at the cage and lunges. Today a Behavior staff checked on this reported behavior again and found that it was still present. When she was returning Bear to his kennel he walked in with no problems but once she started to slip his leash off, Bear turned, lunged at her and nipped at her pant legs. She was able to close the kennel door and once she did this Bear slammed his body against the gate, hard-barked and lunged in her direction. Due to this behavior, the Behavior Department does not feel Bear will be able to move to the adoptions ward.
