A volunteer writes: Named after a “sweet and loveable” character from my all time favorite show Sweeney Todd, this little guy is indeed ‘sweet and loveable’! A bit shy at first, he quickly decided I was a friend and cuddled in my lap for some petting, sweetly stole some kisses (well…..he really didn’t need to steal them – I gave them away freely), loved playing with a plush toy, and then tail wagging appropriately greeted a dog in another pen. Tobias seems to love other dogs, “dainty, gentle, social and playful” in group play. Tobias may be on his way to being housetrained, going potty as soon as we were out the door, and because he’s a youngster may still need some reminder training when you get him home. He loves treats and takes them softly so should be easy to train with positive reinforcement. He’s been fed well and his little puppy body wiggles with happiness as he plays and snuggles. On leash he’s a bit zig zaggy with the puppy excitement of exploring the big wide world, but as his tail wags with joy I can’t help but smiling at him. So wiggly, so snuggly, so absolutely adorable Tobias is hoping to find a home in which love, structure, exercise and positive reinforcement training are on the daily to do list. Puppies aren’t for everyone, but if you’re a puppy person, ask for Tobias Ragg today.
