Medical Summary Scan: negative Sex: female S: owner surrender due to seizures O: dull mentation, non-ambulatory, bradycardic (HR: 72 on presentation), lung c/e, pulses moderate, mm’s pink/moist CRT <2 sec, hydrated, female, good body condition (5/9), PE otherwise WNL A: Seizues: puppy hypoglycemia vs. porto-systemic (liver) shunt vs. toxin exposure vs. structural brain disease vs. less likely idiopathic epilepsy P: Start Keppra 20 mg/kg PO TID (first dose given at 6:45 pm on 7/24 by Dr.1168) Vaccines: CIV and DA2PP vaccines given at 7 pm on 7/24 by Dr.1168 PROGNOSIS: FAIR (depends on the cause of the seizures, which is unknown at this time)
