07/31/2015 PET PROFILE MEMO
07/31/15 20:07 Spaghetti was found tethered outside in the street. Children found her. They had another Pit Bull type dog with them and they were relaxed and social together. Spaghetti was relaxed and social with the children as well. Their parents wouldn’t let them keep Spaghetti, so they gave her to a neighbor who brought her here. The neighbor reports that she was friendly and relaxed with them. Spaghetti has wounds on her face and shoulders. Spaghetti had a soft body and wagging tail while we pet, scanned (-), collared, positioned for pictures, switched leashes, and picked her up to put her in the van. She sat next to us, leaned against us gently, and took treats nicely.
08/03/2015 WEB MEMO
A volunteer writes: Who does not love spaghettis? Well, we have one , yes, only one, at the Manhattan Care Center. She is a pretty young lady, elegant and feminine with pale green eyes, a pointy white face, a pink nose and shell like ears. Although much too thin, she is a real beauty ! Spaghetti is deep asleep in her arrival kennel. She needs to recover from whatever scratched her badly all over her body and face. With a tap on the shoulder, she wakes up, all surprised and at first, hesitant to enter the yard. She falls back quickly on her feet when she sees that she is in good company. Her tail is out, wagging and she has a very large smile on her face. What laughing eyes she has ! She is just adorable and so attractive. Spaghetti is not scared, she is quite at ease among us, humans and she seems to like other dogs very much. She accepts the kisses from another female through the fence. She comes when called, even sits on command and takes treats avidly from my hand. She is mighty hungry. Spaghetti hops on the bench upon request, cuddles with her caretaker and kisses galore…She is so needy and affectionate.. Spaghetti is a regal for the eyes, a fashion model but also a sweet, funny, pleasant and very sociable gal. She is waiting for you at the Manhattan Care Center and dreams to be the star in your life…
