07/22/2015 PET PROFILE MEMO
07/22/15 07:46 BASIC INFO: Snoopy A1044961 is a Shih Tzu/Poodle Mix. He was a gift from a neighbor, and the new Owner only had him for 3 days. The main reason for surrender is because the Owner did not want the previous Owner to tie the dog up outside as he was looking to surrender Snoopy. New Owner also has 3 dogs. Snoopy does not have any health issues or concerns. SOCIALIZATION: Snoopy is very friendly with strangers, he can be a little fearful at first but warms up quickly. He lived with 2 children ages two and seven years old. He was very sweet, kind and respectful of the kids and played gently with them. He also plays gentle with adults. He lived for 3 days with three small dogs, a female Maltese, a male Maltee/Poodle and a male chihuahua and he got along with them fine. He has never bitten a person or animal. BEHAVIOR: Snoopy did pee indoors, as would be expected, but is fully house trained. During loud noises or storms he is not bothered. He is friendly if you remove his food bowl, toy or anything else. He was okay with taking a bath and having his coat brushed. FOR A NEW FAMILY TO KNOW: He is best described as friendly, affectionate, playful and mellow. He has a low activity level. He loves to be carried like a baby. He was kept mainly indoors and slept on the floor. He was fed Beneful and Alpo (unknown amounts or frequency). He is house trained and prefers to go on grass. When left alone at home, he is well behaved. He listens to the command come. For exercise, he would play off leash in the yard. He does not pull on his leash. BEHAVIOR DURING INTAKE: Snoopy was very sweet and friendly during intake process.
