05/19/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – AVERAGE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Sibble pulls a bit on leash. She was sociable toward the handler during the assessment – soft body, wagging tail. Sibble was calm and relaxed during handling. She was distracted, focused on objects in the room rather than the handler during the tag test. She did not resist being handled while eating, and was easily pushed out of the food bowl. Sibble took the toy and rawhide away with a soft body language. She was relaxed when approaching a friendly dog, but was not playful. Sibble did not show any concern during the behavior assessment. The behavior department feels that she can go to an Average home. Look: 1. Dog holds gaze with soft eyes, soft body. She allows head to be held loosely in Assessor’s cupped hands. Dog holds gaze for three full seconds. Sensitivity: 1. Dog leans into the Assessor, eyes soft or squinty, soft and loose body, open mouth. Tag: 2. Dog is not fearful, but is unresponsive to the Assessor, and approaches the Assessor at the end of the game (may need coaxing to approach.) she is focused on stimuli other than the Assessor. Squeeze 1: 1. Dog gently pulls back her paw. Squeeze 2: 1. Dog gently pulls back her paw. Food 2. Dog follows the dish with her tail down, body likely a bit stiff. Dog lifts head after a bit of pressure from hand to cheek. Toy: 1. Dog settles close, keeps a firm grip and is loose and wiggly. She does not place his body between you and the toy. Rawhide: 1. Dog settles close, keeps a firm grip and is loose and wiggly. She does not place his body between you and the rawhide. Dog – dog 1.
