A volunteer writes: Compact, muscular, tail wagging and oh so sweet, Rupert is a dream on the leash, likely housetrained, and a great snuggle partner. He’s a little shy at first, and sometimes gets startled by a sudden loud noise, but he’s all about making friends with both people and other dogs. In group play he’s tolerant and greets other dogs politely and on our walk he wagged his tail gently at every dog we passed. Gently taking a treat from my hand, he equally gently spit it out when it wasn’t too his liking. Too sweet! Happy to lay his head in my lap for some petting, his tail wags and his eyes sparkle. Low key and easy, he’s beyond the puppy crazies and simply wants a home and bestie where nice walks, good food and care along with snuggle time are on the daily ‘to do’ list. Who’s going to be the lucky person who takes Rupert home?
