05/25/2015 WEB MEMO
A volunteer writes: Roc and Roll is worthy of being made into a cardboard cutout and having his name doodled with hearts around it in school notebooks — it’s impossible not to be a fan of this dreamboat! He looks like he was taken care of and is as handsome as they come. Whenever we’ve encountered other dogs he seems interested and friendly — whining a little bit when the dog in the adjacent pen isn’t paying him attention, and then play bowing when she approaches the fence between them. He is big and must be strong, but is very easy to handle. He frequently looks back on walks and is very attentive. When I raise a treat in the air he’ll stand on his hind legs with his front paws drawn in front of him like a kangaroo, but will “sit” when I ask him to, and wags his tail the whole time he is waiting for his reward (unless I am really taking an excessively long time to find one, then he might play bow at me and utter a bark!). He loves to be petted and can be affectionate in a very tender way — he’ll gently put his paws on my lap and nuzzle his head into my chest. I love Roc and Roll! Save your dime for the next jukebox, but please come and take your time and meet (maybe dance too!) with him at Brooklyn ACC!
