A volunteer writes: Googling the name ‘Puig’ provides many definitions but my favorite is in the Urban Dictionary: “any person who is cool, hot, irresitible, sexy, and funny”. Does that describe our Puig? You bet it does! Handsome Puig was curled up in a ball when I approached his kennel, and an offered treat enticed him closer so that I could leash him. When he stood up I could see how emaciated he is; he’s being fed an extra meal daily to help him gain some weight. Likely housetrained he used the ‘facilities’ immediately and we then had a nice walk to the park. Joining me on the park bench for some hugs, he poses nicely for pictures, sitting when I asked him to, and gobbling his treats hungrily. No surprise there given his current body weight! He has a gorgeous walk, a glide, an elegant way about him, and when he’s a full body weight he will be, as the Urban Dictionary defines “cool, hot, irresistible, sexy and funny”. He’s sweet, low key, affectionate (loves to give kisses), and easy to be with. He comes when called and is always ready for a good cuddle. He’s looking for the home which will provide plenty of nutritious food, and of course, lots of love. How awesome to make him part of your family and have the chance to restore this boy to his full glory. We’re rooting for him (and you)!
