A volunteer writes: She’s so quiet and small in her kennel I didn’t notice her huge mass until she stood up to let me know she was ready for a walk. She’s a golden peanut, a soft furry slip of a thing with a mass between her back legs making her do a little hop/skip as we walk. Likely housetrained she ‘goes’ as soon as we were out the door. Friendly, tail wagging and so happy to be out on a lovely summer morning, she seems to have adapted her walking style to make room for this mass. A barking Chihuahua pulled towards us on the sidewalk and Ponytail merely kept wagging her tail and walking. Good girl! Off leash in a pen she snuggles in close for petting, explores the area and gives a quick chase to a pigeon who decided to join us.
I took her out later in the day before I left and she again went potty, hop/skipping down the street with a wagging tail. This little girl needs our help and our love.
