08/14/2015 WEB MEMO
A volunteer writes: Noxville is a great big marshmallow of a dog, soft and sweet and such an easy-to-love mush that he’d fit almost any home like a well worn glove. He’s 90 delicious pounds of handsome but could do with a little less ‘people food’ and a little more exercise to slim down those huggable sides and it shouldn’t be too difficult either, as he’s not really a couch potato at heart. Ready, willing and more than able to get out in the world, Noxville trots along nicely on leash, takes care of his business promptly and meets other dogs with impeccable good manners. He’s very attentive and always responds immediately to commands like sit, come and wait and he takes treats from my hand as gently as can be. And talk about affectionate! You can hug him, you can kiss him, you can love on him from every angle and Noxville will not only tolerate, he will luxuriate! He so enjoys being petted and fussed over and will happily settle at my side any time for a top-to-toe body massage. I left him sitting in the hallway while I cleaned up his kennel and so magnetic is this ladies’ (and gents’) man that by the time I went to fetch him a few minutes later he was already snuggled tight in the arms of another female staffer! A family dog in need of a family to love, Noxville is patiently waiting at our Manhattan Care Center for his forever home to find him… will you bring the happy ending this sweet Prince deserves?
