A volunteer writes: This beauty in her grey coat and pointy ears is a bit too thin, and I can only imagine with a few pounds how absolutely magnificent she will be. She’s a sweetheart wearing a big smile, sparkling eyes and a wagging tail. Likely housetrained, she ‘went’ as soon as we were out the door and showed me her lovely leash manners as we walked to the park. Although not fond of being tethered for photos, she managed a smile from time to time, but took her modeling seriously with a serious face. She seems to like other dogs, loves meeting new people, and met a small dog in the park with a perfect ‘how do you do’. In group play she’s still a bit anxious, allows a greeting but hasn’t, as of this writing, engaged completely in play. She loves treats, takes them gently and will follow you anywhere knowing a treat is her reward. Any training if needed will be easy with positive reward based methods. She has a lively energy seeking out friends, both human and canine, and would love an active home with plenty of walks, exercise and love. Acing her behavior assessment indicates she’ll be a good fit in most homes. How about yours?
