MEDICAL: scan negative, intact male – cryptorchid, weight: 13.9lbs, slightly cloudy occular lens, clean ears, clean coat, moderate staining to teeth along with gingivitis, nails long – trimmed during exam, overall body condition is good, sweet boy – easy to handle, BARH, NOSF
PROFILE:
Basic Information: Luke is a 10 year old unaltered male Pomeranian mix. Owner had Luke for 10 years found as a stray. Owner surrenders Luke due to personal problem.
Social Life and Personality: Luke lived with two adults and been around children ages 4 and 5 years old. Owner stated Luke is playful, relaxed and tolerant towards everyone in the household. Luke behavior is unknown towards other animals since he been indoors most of his life. He’ indoors only and activity level is very high. Owner describes Luke as playful, excitable, affectionate, and friendly.
Behavior Issues: Luke never bitten or scratched anyone owner stated. He urinates and defecates indoors. He barks too much especially when someone knocks on the door. Luke doesn’t guard his food but will guard objects such as slippers. He likes taking baths and being brushed. He barks at unfamiliar people who approach the house of family member.
For a New Family to Know: Luke is trained to use the bathroom indoors on piddle pad and floor. He doesn’t play with toys or know any commands. Luke has never been crate trained. Luke likes to follow owner around the house or rarely seeks attention. Luke eats dry food called Kibbles and Bites.
Intake Behavior: Upon intake Luke was hyper and excitable. He scanned negative for a microchip and allowed all handling.
PLAYGROUP: When off leash with other dogs, Luke tolerates interaction but spends most of his time exploring his surroundings.
