Her owner stated that when she watches television and notices a scary and loud scene happening, she will hide her face with her paws. She likes brisk walks on leash but will tug. A volunteer writes: Endearing facts about Stormy Grey…..She gives sloppy kisses.. She lived with small children and she let them tug at her or ride on her back…She watched TV and hid her face with her paw when there was a loud scene…. Stormy Grey is a big and beautiful girl but she acts like a little mouse in her kennel. There is no way to hide when one is so large. I talk to her, juggle with the leash to collar her and off we leave for the yard. Stormy Grey is a strong dog and I fly like a kite at the end of the rope…I let her free in a pen where she paces non stop. She ignores me for most of the time. I brush with my hand her back by accident as she storms back and forth in front of me…Where is the real Stormy Grey ?????Stormy Grey, owned since the age of 4 month, comes with excellent comments from her former master who relinquished her for untold personal reasons. She would be very affectionate, playful and well behaved, friendly to all(including other dogs), with no handling issues, non destructive, housetrained and even crate trained. A dream girl. She is quite gorgeous in her silver and grey coat, healthy and well nourished. Her eyes are beautiful under the cherry obstructing them. Stormy Grey is very affected by her abandonment and she is not letting me in at this point. She totally lost her bearings and she chooses not to be aggressive but rather to live, unconsciously, in her own world, her own bubble, to lessen the trauma she is living. I hope someone at the care center will be able to open the door to her heart and if not, I wish that soon enough, a home and a new family or owner will be found for Stormy Grey. A volunteer updates: Stormy Grey has come a long way…This grand dame comes now to her door when she sees me and demands quietly to go out. She pulls much less on the leash and actually, free in a pen, comes when I call her and stays close to me for caresses. Her greenish eyes look at me so gently. I can see now the sweet girl her former owner described to us when he relinquished her into our care. Stormy Grey is quite beautiful, a gentle giant who would make a lover of the breed so blessed to have her in his or her home. Do not make her wait too long, for her sake and yours….She is the very good friend and companion you always dreamed of.
