08/20/2015 WEB MEMO
A volunteer writes: What ever happened to Baby Jane? The Jane at the Manhattan ACC is much cuter than Bette Davis’s character from that movie. At only six months old, this doggie has velvety soft puppy fur in a beautiful blueish gray. Jane was a little shy coming out of her cage – or maybe just hesitant since it was filled with super soft blankets (someone’s a staff favorite)! I should’ve known what to expect – even her intake photo is her in a “belly rub, please!” pose. She snagged one from a staff member on the way outside. Once outside she blossomed into a friendly, wiggly pup. She got another belly rub from me too and seemed very comfortable and relaxed. Come meet Jane today – she’ll make a perfect partner! A volunteer writes: Jane is a delicious young damsel, only six months of age who is with us as her master hit a big bump on the road…She has been well cared for and looks so perfect, laying in her doggy bed, paws hanging and looking straight into my eyes…So, are we having fun yet? Jane lets me pluck her out of her upper kennel and off we head for the yard. She is a mix of shy and daring. Sometimes rolling on her back in submission or running along and after me, playing tag. She loves treats as her body knows that she has still lots of growing to do. She loves other dogs , play bowing to some and dreaming to cross the gate to join them in another pen. Jane is a great little lapdog too. No mouthing, no biting the leash..She is a wonderful little girl who does not belong to a kennel but to a home sweet home Jane would love to meet you..She is at the Manhattan Care Center, dreaming to be your little girl
