05/06/2015 WEB MEMO
A volunteer writes: Her name means ‘to know’ and this calm, friendly girl really does have an air of wisdom about her but it’s Jada’s silly side that made me fall truly, madly, deeply in love. She’s pretty much amazing at everything from walking (at the perfect pace) to greeting other dogs (with low-key friendship) and she’s a pro when it comes to the old sit-n-treat routine too. She is gorgeous, but her real beauty lies on the inside and whether melting her face into my lap or hopping up beside me on the bench and promptly sticking her tongue in my ear, Jada loves to show her affection in sweet, off-beat ways. I adore her little snortle noises and even her peeing style (she seems extremely house trained) is cause for smiles. In the yard she crouches like the lady she is, but out on the street? You guessed it – Jada prefers to lift her leg against trees just like the lads! I can only imagine all the wonderful quirks still to be discovered and it’ll be one very lucky family who ‘discovers’ Jada at our Manhattan Care Center. Hurry in and take her home today!
