A volunteer writes:

We could have called her “Freckles” as Scotch at first called Goose, is sprinkled all over with red confetti. She is one cute youngster doted with sparkling eyes, a giant smile and a hefty appetite that matches her most skinny body. We are feeding her of course accordingly. Scotch is a smart girl, so is her good looking companion, Patron…They were both so hungry that their nose lead them to camp  in front of a Burger King store, hoping to get a free meal….Instead, they were brought here, at the Manhattan Care Center where We are hoping to secure for them, a wonderful owner and home. Scotch is really cute and feminine, petite too. At first more interested in the food I had to offer, she slowly left her “survival” mode to slide into the “pet” mode. Soon enough, she was on my lap for kisses and hugs. What a happy face she makes…We are friends “for life”….Come and meet Scotch for yourself. She is as pretty as can be. She needs your care and your  love….Give her a chance and she will be yours for ever….
