S/O: geriatric chihuahua, pain positive in both hind legs, some motor present but unable to walk on hind legs, painful (turns and tried to bite) on TL spinal palpation.
A: T3-L3 myelopathy: r/o disc disease vs. neoplasia vs. trauma
P: continue hydo and clavamox as previously rx; extend meloxicam; needs new hope placement

QAR mild dehydration; OU lenticular opacity; ddz G3; able to move front limbs, but cannot right self on rear, pain on palpation of T-L junction; H/L wnl; tries to bite when touched; multiple dermal abrasons on hocks and elbows
A: T3-L3 myelopathy r/o trauma, IVDD, neoplasia acute v chronic
P: Give 0.08 cc hydromorphone PO BID for pain. 0.19 cc meloxicam SC given. amoxiclav for wounds. Recc plea to NH
A Staff member writes: Poor Funshine, has wounds on her hocks and elbows, pain in her rear legs, and pain on her spine when palpated. She needs an MRI to determine the cause of her back pain.
