A volunteer writes: You’ve heard of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat? Well, meet Chewie and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat! When Chewie stepped out of his kennel I gasped with the sheer delight of his amazing coat…..multi hued in browns, bronzes and golds, it’s unique and stunning. Tapering off to a rich milk chocolate on his head, he’s magnificent! And Chewie is not just about good looks – his personality amazes too! Surrendered by his person due to a ‘no pets’ rule, we’re told that Chewie lived with a 4 year old and was gentle and respectful of her – aware of his and her size., he loves to take a bath and be brushed, knows ‘sit’ and ‘lay down’, is playful with other dogs, loves to play fetch and go jogging, was walked twice a day, and goes in and out of his crate freely. He showed me his leash manners and his ‘sit’ in exchange for a treat taken gently. We played fetch and he brings it right back for me to take right out of his mouth! Showing off good leash manners during our walk to the park, he wags his tail at other dogs and some kids we pass. Affectionate, playful, friendly, sweet and perfectly puppy mannered, this proven family dog is looking for a new family to love. Come meet him today.
