08/18/2015 WEB MEMO
A volunteer writes: Even without meeting Austria, one can see from her pictures that she is a loving gal with a great and sunny personality. She has the most beautiful Pitie smile, a begging tongue hanging from a generously wrinkled mouth, a delicious pink nose and laughing eyes. She is just plain gorgeous and so healthy looking in her perfectly groomed latte and cream dress. Austria is a little shy and sometimes seeks protection in her caretaker’s arms or jumps next to her on the bench for closeness and comfort. She is quite an affectionate girl. She is excellent on the leash, does her business in the yard or the street, sits on command or for treats and takes roast beef quite gently from my hand. She is a little wary of pushy dogs but appreciates little ones or calm pooches, her size. Austria, I think, just needs to come out a little of her shell and she will be in no time running around with her kind in playgroups… Austria is a beauty, a very attractive and engaging girl who will be her new owners sunshine. I know she will make a most awesome forever companion. Just come and meet her..You will see what I am talking about…Take her home to better your life. Austria is at the Manhattan Care Center.
