They’re relaxed, friendly, and playful with other pets in their home. Stacks and relaxed, friendly, and playful with animals he meets outside, but Aqua sometimes barks at them. Aqua and Stacks have never bit anyone. Aqua and Stacks are house trained and well-behaved in their home. Aqua and Stacks had loose, wiggly bodies, open mouths, and wagging tails during intake and handling-scan (+ for Aqua, – for Stacks), collar, switching leashes, petting, positioning for pictures, and putting into kennel. They leaned into us while we pet them. They sat and went into their kennels when asked.
08/08/2015 WEB MEMO
A volunteer writes: I thought I was done for the day until I passed Aqua’s kennel and there was no resisting this little schmushy face looking up at me. I fell in love hard and fast! She’s absolutely adorable in her little compact body, and while she’s a bit too thin in my opinion, her coat feels like the finest velvet. Surrendered with her housemate Stacks (A1046674) the product of a divorce, we’re told that Aqua lived with and spent time with kids of all ages and was relaxed and playful with them, she also lived with other dogs in addition to Stacks, and cats and was good with all. She’s housetrained and well behaved at home. She’s such a sweet girl, showing off her housetraining skills the moment we were out the door, takes treats gently and loved rolling in my lap for hugs. A total lover girl, she loves butt rubs, or really any petting at all. She ignores other dogs we pass as we walk, and her former owner said she’ll sometimes bark at other dogs. In group she’s still a bit stiff in her new environment as of this writing, but allowed other dogs to sniff their greeting. This face! I love this face and the personality behind it. You will too – ask to meet Aqua today!
