Medical Summary Scan negative for microchip Intact male Eyes are clear Nose=No discharge Ears are waxy. Cleaned with war cleaning solution and gauze Teeth have tarter Nails trimmed Old scab on left front paw As of now no signs of kennel cough As of now V/S/D Dewormed in food with Pyrantel Flea Treatment= Activyl NOSF Was nervous during inital but allowed handling.

I was wondering why Alabaster’s admission picture was so ..strange. Now I get it….Alabaster is one scared big mouse….He melts and blends with his kennel floor and is un-extractable from his den…That ain’t going to happen with me….Alabaster..You will be my pal ! It took a lot of pulling and pushing to get him into the yard. We thought at some point that there was something wrong neurologically with him… Neh…Just plain old fear….. Once off leash in a pen, Alabaster unwound  and a breathtaking German Shepherd appeared under my eyes, too thin may be  but absolutely gorgeous anyway. Alabaster is fearful and mixed up.His mind is dancing. He comes toward me than tries to avoid me. He is tempted by my treats. He is hungry ,  takes  dry liver very quickly from my hand and retreats…I pet him on the head, he stays briefly and he leaves… and goes lay down in a corner of the pen . Never ever did I hear a growl but rather a soft cry showing his distress. Leashing Alabaster back was not short of a rodeo and I was lucky enough to lasso him while he was voiding…Not nice..I felt ashamed of my tricky behavior but I had no choice. As he was walking close to me, I petted him on the head and caressed his body. Alabaster was fine with it. His trip back to his kennel was much easier.. I feel for him but I trust that he will come out of his shell. Alabaster needs ahome and a new owner very soon. He is a real King who needs a castle but mostly the love, the care and the guidance of a master. Come and meet him at the ManhattanCare Center and make him yours.
