A volunteer writes: Such a good mommy…..only willing to come out for a break when her babies are sleeping. She’s a bit shy but once outside is happy to be pet and to snuggle close. Her leash manners are lovely, she’s likely housetrained, and her little stubby tail wags as we walk. Mrs. C doesn’t mind being tethered for photos, takes treats gently and leans in for petting. All moms need a break and I think she was happy to be outside for a while, making new friends with staff and getting some attention. She’s a tiny little girl, nicely groomed, soft and sweet. Her babies were still sleeping when she went back into her kennel, and a short time later they were snuggled into her again. A mommy’s break time is pretty short!
