06/15/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – AVERAGE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Elly came to our center on 6/3/2015 along with another dog. She walked nicely on her relief walk, no pulling. Elly held gaze for three full seconds, soft body, during Look item. She stood still and accepted the touch during Sensitivity item, tail down and ears back, leaning in slightly. Elly followed at the end of the leash for Tag game, settling at the end. She did not pull her paw back during both Squeeze attempts, sniffing hand during first Squeeze. Elly ate consistently in large gulps, but still allowed the Food dish to be moved. She lifted her head out of the dish with a bit of moderate pressure. She had no interest in Toy, focused on looking for more food. She settled close with the Rawhide, keeping a firm grip, her body neutral. The Behavior Team feels Elly would do well in an Average home. Look: 1. Dog holds gaze with soft eyes, soft body. She allows head to be held loosely in Assessor’s cupped hands. Dog holds gaze for three full seconds. Sensitivity: 2. Dog stands still and accepts the touch, her eyes are averted, her tail is between her legs, mouth closed, lip long, ears back. Tag: 1. Follows at end of leash, body soft. Squeeze 1 / 2: 1. Dog does not respond at all for three seconds. Her eyes are averted and her ears are relaxed. Food 2. Dog follows the dish with her tail down. Dog lifts head after a bit of pressure from hand to cheek. Toy 1. No interest. Rawhide 1. Dog settles close, body neutral. She does not place her body between you and the rawhide. Dog – dog 2. Dog approaches helper dog with tail at spine level, body not stiff, ears relaxed, and lip neutral
06/17/2015 GROUP BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – AVERAGE
