CAME IN WITH: KAT – A1043412

A volunteer writes: Zeus may have been the Greek god of sky and thunder, but our Zeus is the Brooklyn god of stealing hearts! He is stubby, wiggly, and has the best smile. He was surrendered along with his sister, Kat, due to a move. His previous owner had nothing but praise for Zeus – the worst thing I could find in his notes was that one time he was left unattended in the yard and ripped up some chair cushions! He lived harmoniously with a one year old child and is said to be gentle and friendly with everyone. He is cooperative for taking baths, loves to play with balls, and is a great TV watching buddy! From the time I’ve spent with him, Zeus seems like he’d be a great buddy for just about anything. His energy level seems ideal, he is easy to walk on leash, he wags his tail at the sound of my voice, follows me around off leash, and loves to be pet. He seems housebroken and hangs with the “gentle and dainty” crowd in playgroup. Zeus seems very food motivated and his previous owner reports that he already knows “sit,” “down,” “stay,” and “shake.” To meet Zeus is to fall for him, please come check him out at Brooklyn ACC!
For more information on adopting from the NYC AC&C, or to find a rescue to assist, please read the following: http://information.urgentpodr.org/adoption-info-and-list-of-rescues/
If you are local to the Tri-State, New England, and the general Northeast United States area, and you are SERIOUS about adopting or fostering one of the animals at NYC ACC, please read our MUST READ section for instructions, or email [email protected]
Our experienced volunteers will do their best to guide you through the process. *We highly discourage everyone from trusting strangers that send them Facebook messages, offering help, for it has ended in truly tragic events.*
