A volunteer writes:   Yogi Berra is so pretty  and delicate looking that I thought he was a girl…I am so sorry but I do not think he knows I made this terrible mistake.  Yogi B is at his door and gets leashed without a whisper. He trots valliantly tail up through the hallways and the yard. Once in the pen, free, he becomes a wary little mouse, tail between his legs and running away when I approach. So, I let him approach me, not with treats(that he smelled but did not take) but with soft words. He made many attempts at  climbing on my lap but was still too scared. He very much liked to be petted all over and after a while, I took him in my arms where he seemed quite comfortable. My camera fell down to the ground, got stuck and no pictures could be made  of our bonded moment…Yogi Beraa is a decious little boy, quite scared here at the care center. He needed a home to feel safe and an owner to love…Come and meet him at the Manhattan Care Center. Yogi Berra ia already neutered and could go home with you today.
