09/04/15 09:52 Tonto would approach extended hand and jump onto the leg of admission counselor. When scanned was positive for a microchip and when touched had soft, relaxed body and would continue to jump onto admission counselor’s leg and lick at him. When given treats he would sniff and then return to seek attention from admission counselor. When given commands “sit” “stay” and “come” he did not respond to any of them. He was quiet throughout intake but would constantly move. When admission counselor was not paying attention to him he would run back and forth and attempt to go towards the doors when he heard people by them.
09/12/2015 WEB MEMO
A volunteer writes: Yellowstone looks like a punished little boy..Sometimes barking in his kennel and sometimes hiding in his oversize bed…Take him out and you will see a totally different pup…Yellowstone is a great walker and likely house trained. He is an intact male and marks his territory. He comes when called and sits very nicely on command . He is so cute, well groomed and healthy looking. Yellowstone is a great ball player and retriever the ball in my hand upon request. He demands to come on my lap and is the greatest lap dog, giving kisses by the bucket. So, if you are looking for a young Yorkie, come to the Manhattan Care Center, ask to see Yellowstone and play with him in the yard.I know you will want to take him home with you as your forever best friend…

He stood still and accepted the touch during Sensitivity item, tail neutral, body soft. Yellowstone followed at the end of the leash for Tag game, jumping up playfully on assessor at end of game. He gulped Food faster when assess-a-hand moved the dish, and required a bit of pressure to lift his head out of the Food bowl. Yellowstone took Toy away, body a bit stiff. He had minimal interest in Rawhide. Off leash with other dogs, Yellowstone greets politely, then seeks human attention.
