Yarn had a soft body during the intake. He allowed handling and did not show any aggressive behaviors.

MEDICAL:

S/O:  Patient was resting on initial presentation.  Did not respond and stand until cage door was propped open.  Cooperative for exam.  No c/s/v/d noted., mm= pink, moist, hydration = adequate, Integ = unkempt, EENT = Mature cataracts, OU – non-visual; mild waxy debris AU; calculus build-up (moderate) and attrition on bottom incisors, nnd, H/L= nma, nsr, pss; clear lung fields bilaterally, Abdomen = snp, no masses palpable, GU = neutered male, LN = wnl, MS = BCS = 2/9; amb x 4, CNS = appropriate mentation, absent menace, OU

A:  Geriatric MN Shih Tzu with: cataracts, Underweight, dental disease

Prognosis: Fair

P: Rec. placement, full blood work, Feed 3 x a day. , Continue to monitor while at BACC
