A volunteer writes: Are you my new person? How about you? You look like you should take me home. What about you? I can see Xerxes pondering these questions as we walk to the park as he looks up hopefully at every person we pass. His tail wags as he searches their faces and it’s clear from spending time with him that he’s a well taken care of young dog. His coat is shiny and handsome, his weight perfect for his size, he goes potty as soon as we’re out the door, he sits as soon as he sees a treat in my hand, and takes it
gently. Wagging his tail as we meet other dogs, he was even cordial to a small Chihuahua on the other side of the fence. Off leash he comes when called, and enjoys some petting before he’s off again to explore the pen. Xerxes will thrive in an active home with long walks, plenty of exercise and lots of love. He could also use some leash training as he does pull hard on the leash as he enthusiastically navigates the city streets. Stop by and meet our brindlicious boy today.
