12/01/2015 WEB MEMO
A volunteer writes: A gorgeous redhead, Woody’s coat is a blend of golds, tans, reds – like the finest woven tapestry. His face is serious as he faces his new world, but he’s friendly and welcoming, happy to be warm and well fed. He’s likely housetrained, good on the leash and as we pass other dogs of all sizes in the park he wags his tail in friendship. In play group he’s bouncy and fun, initiating a series of bows inviting his doggy friend to play. So cute! He’s a bit shy with people, quiet but friendly, giving me kisses and snuggling close once we’ve established our friendship (which didn’t take long at all). Woody let me put a coat on him against the chilly morning air, takes treats gently, so seems to have known the comforts of a home before being found by the police tied to a pole. His playful loving spirit shines even through his serious face in pictures and he knows his new person is out there waiting to find him. We know it too and are rooting for him. He’s an awesome little guy; ask to meet him today!!
