PROFILE:
Basic Information: Whistle is a 13 year old altered male Beagle mix. He was adopted from AC&C 13 years ago. Owner stated Whistle vomits all the time but doesn’t know why. Owner surrenders Whistle due to pet health.
Social Life and Personality: Whistle lived with two adults and a three year old child. Owner stated Whistle is relaxed, respectful and tolerant towards everyone in the household. Whistle lived with another dog name Scooby Doo A1052918. Owner stated Whistle and Scooby Doo is playful towards each other. Whistle behavior is unknown towards cats. He is mostly indoors and activity level is to a medium. Owner describes Whistle as playful and shy.
Behavior Issues: Whistle has never bitten or scratched anyone owner stated. He defecates or urinates indoors when he’s not taken outside. He doesn’t resource guards his food, toys, or treats. He isn’t bothered by taking baths and being brushed. He barks when unfamiliar people approaches the house.
For a New Family to Know: Whistle uses the bathroom outdoor/ indoor and goes for walks in the morning. Whistle doesn’t play with toys and mostly lays on the floor. Whistle isn’t crate trained but came in a cage was well behaved. He likes to be in same room as owner or in his favorite spot. Whistle eats dry food called Alpo.
Intake Behavior: Upon intake Whistle was calm and relaxed. He was hacking during intake from time to time. He scanned negative for a microchip and allowed all handling.
Owner stated Whistle vommits all the time.
PLAYGROUP: When off leash with other dogs Whistle greets briefly but is more interested in exploring his surroundings.
