09/22/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – NH ONLY
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Webster was difficult to remove from his kennel showing teeth, growling and lunges at the rope. Once he was removed from his kennel he walks with a stiff and hunched body. Webster was stiff and did not show social behavior during the assessment. He was uncomfortable with handling he wrinkles his muzzle to expose his front teeth. We decided to skip the handling part of the assessment for safety reasons. During the resources Webster growled and bit the assess-a-hand during the food, toy and rawhide test. The behavior department feels that he would do best if placed with a New Hope partner who can follow up on this behavior in a more stable environment and can provide any necessary behavior modification before placement into a permanent home. Food: 5. Dog tries to bite. Toy: 5. Dog attempts to bite Rawhide: 5. Dog attempts to bite
