07/09/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – AVERAGE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
War Ren previously lived 2 adults and children, and allowed all to handle him. The owner stated he is partially potty trained. It was also mentioned by the owner War Ren has a very high activity level. It was reported War Ren had loose body posture he approached the counselor and allowed all handling upon intake. During SAFER War Ren came into the assessment room calm and relax, he was a bit social towards the assessor, allowed all handling items to be conducted without issue. War Ren was distracted during the tag interaction and during the resources portion of the assessment War Ren was easy to handle when engaged with the items. War Ren appears to be a bit social, and did not display any behaviors concerns, so the department feels he can be suitable for an “Average” adopter. Look: 1. Dog’s eyes are averted. His ears are back, his tail is down, and he has a relaxed body posture. Dog allows head to be held loosely in Assessor’s cupped hands. Sensitivity: 1. Dog stands still and accepts the touch, his eyes are averted, and his tail is in neutral position with relaxed body posture. Dog’s mouth is likely closed for at least a portion of the assessment item. Tag: 2. Dog does not respond at all for three seconds. His eyes are averted and his ears are relaxed. Squeeze 2: 1. Dog does not respond at all for three seconds. His eyes are averted and his ears are relaxed. Food: 1. Dog calmly allows the food to be moved, follows the dish, but does not interfere with the dish’s movement. Dog’s body is soft and loose, eyes soft, tail neutral. He lifts his head when hand is pushed against his cheek. Toy 1: No interest. Rawhide: 1.
