A volunteer writes:   Although in obvious pain from an unknown injury, Waffle positions himself to gently take my offered treat.  He chews it down and looks up for another, taking it with the very edge of his teeth – what a gentle boy.  His weight looks good, his coat healthy and shiny, and he’s in need of a hero today.
