05/13/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPERIENCE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Vienna pulls a bit on leash. She was sociable toward the handler during the assessment – soft body, wagging tail. She was calm and relaxed during handling. Vienna was distracted, focused on objects in the room rather than the handler during the tag test. She did not resist being handled while eating, and was easily pushed out of the food bowl. Vienna was not interested in toys or rawhide. She rushed in confidently towards the helper dog, body is tense, ears erect and high tail wag. Vienna did not show any concern during the behavior assessment but staff member reported that Vienna was friendly but high energy. She allowed for all handling including scanning and vaccinating. She was very diffucult to out into the kennel because she seems to be dog reactive as seen by how she tried to get to the dog in the kennel next to her.The behavior department feels that she can go to an Experienced home who can follow up on this behavior. Look: 2. Dog pulls out of Assessor’s hands each time without settling during three repetitions. Sensitivity: 1.
