Medical Summary scanned negative intact male approx 4 months old s/o: demodex, confirmed with skin scrape. nearly bald, skin is hot covered in scabs, heart and lungs wnl, and wnl, dog is docile, allows all handling. a: demodex, secondary pyoderma P: ivermectin and cephalexin x 30+ days. good prognosis
BEHAVIOR: Green Medical Behavior – easy to handle
PROFILE: Tyrion was found by the police hiding under a car. Officers picked him up, placed him in a carrier and brought him to our center for care. Behavior during intake: Very nervous and whale eyed. would not walk out of crate. After removing the top of the crate and some encouragement, he finally walked out and walked well on leash.
