10/02/2015 WEB MEMO
A volunteer writes: Tulsa is a real girl-next-door type, fresh faced (love those freckles!) and full of self confidence with innocent eyes that see only the best in everyone she meets. She’s thrilled to make new friends and whether large or small, male or female, human or canine, all are greeted with the kind of fanfare usually reserved for celebrities or royalty. Tulsa walks fairly well on leash and seems to be quite house trained but as soon as another dog comes into view, she pulls forward with a frantically wagging tail and her one-up-one-down ears perked as high as possible…Hey hey hey! Wanna be friends?!!! Sitting politely for treats (which she takes gently) or a toy (which she shakes heartily) Tulsa has no problem sharing her things and clearly she’s received some lessons in ladylike manners from her former family, posing beautifully for pictures and letting me handle her any which way I please. A fun-loving tomboy with a sweet nature and the face of an angel, Tulsa would love to offer you a place in her heart so come on in to our Manhattan Care Center and meet your new BFF today!
