08/05/2015 WEB MEMO
A volunteer writes (as told by Trinidad): Hi – my name is Trinidad but you can call me Trinidad (that’s a joke – get it?). I like to have a good time, and I love people and other dogs. As a matter of fact staff here tell me I’m a good ‘greeter’ in group because I do well with both males and females and am respectful of others. I’m really, really, really skinny so they are feeding me an extra meal each day to help me gain some weight. I also get to go for walks so I can show everyone that I know how to go potty outside. My new friend, Volunteer, called me a ‘peanut’, and let me show her that I know how to sit, and that I can take treats gently even though I’m pretty hungry. I love to snuggle and give kisses and was so happy when my new friend wanted to snuggle with me. She told me I needed to pose for pictures because they will help me get adopted (I think that means find a new family), so I was very serious about this important job. I do want a new family as I love to be with people. A doggie sibling would be a bonus too. Staff seems to like me too, and I have a special friend who gives me kisses too. So, come meet me and let me show you how much I can love you….please don’t make me wait too long.
