Upon intake Tobasco can be seen lunging and barking from the Police vehicle when attempting to remove him. He was eventually tranquilized for safety reasons, and the stress level of Tobasco. During his medical exam Tobasco was still trying to snap at any handling and a full medical exam was not able to be performed. In the kennel Tobasco can be seen lunging, growling, hard barking, and trying to bite when trying to interact with him through the kennel. A SAFER assessment will not be conducted due to safety and stress level concerns

scanned negative intact male est 1-4 years old overtly aggressive dog–unable to remove from police car without sedation–attempted 3x but dog still snapped at any handling unable to auscult heart or examine mouth grossle appears healthy has “rope burn” from attempt to lasso before arrival at ACC on ventral abdomen Attempted sedation : 2x with Medetomidine–estimate 1cc IM successful. Then gave 0.5 cc ttdex im. light bleeding from injection site on right caudal thigh
