I came in the shelter as a STRAY on 09/18/2015 from NY 11208, owner surrender reason stated was STRAY. I came in with Group/Litter #K15-032647.

09/18/15 18:21 Tino is a white and black 10 yrs. old male Toy Fox terrier who was brought into ACC today as a stray. Tino is not neutered and appears healthy and he will undergo a full physical health exam. He was easy to handle allowing himself to be collared and photographed with no issue. He also allowed himself to be picked up and held with no incident at all. He was calm and well behaved allowing people to pet him and also sniffing anyone he came into contact with.

Helper dog: A1051918 Tino came in as a stray, so his past behaviors in a home are unknown. At intake it was reported Tino was calm and well behaved, he allowed all handling. During SAFER Tino came into the assessment room calm, he was social towards the assessor, allowed all handling items to be conducted without issue. Tino was relaxed during the tag interaction, and during the resources portion of the assessment Tino was easy to handle when engaged with the items. Tino appears to be sociable, and did not display any behaviors concerns, so the department feels he can be suitable for an “Average” adopter. Look: 1. Dog’s eyes are averted. His ears are back, his tail is down, and he has a relaxed body posture. Dog allows head to be held loosely in Assessor’s cupped hands. Sensitivity: 1. Dog stands still and accepts the touch, his eyes are averted, and his tail is in neutral position with relaxed body posture. Dog’s mouth is likely closed for at least a portion of the assessment item. Tag: 1. Follows at end of leash, body soft. Squeeze 1: 1. Dog does not respond at all for three seconds. His eyes are averted and his ears are relaxed. Squeeze 2: 1. Dog does not respond at all for three seconds. His eyes are averted and his ears are relaxed. Food: No interest. Toy 1: No interest. Rawhide: 1. No interest. Dog-dog: 2. Dog does not approach the helper dog. Turns body to side in relation to other dog, and exits.
