06/17/2015 PET PROFILE MEMO
police found dog on the corner of east 158 and park ave behavior during intake dog tail was waging friendly

06/27/2015 WEB MEMO
A volunteer writes: I love the “seniors”…the greying muzzles, easy going manner, the eyes that have seen so much and continue to show us love. Don’t tell Tigerlily she’s a ‘senior’ – she’ll never believe you! Tigerlily is a stunning girl; her coat is shiny and well groomed, her weight good for her size, she’s likely housetrained and her leash manners are lovely. While she doesn’t love being tethered for photos, and didn’t like my treats, she gave me a big smile and then we moved on. She ignores all the small dogs we pass, but whines to meet the ones closer to her own size. As we walk she keeps a watchful eye out for her people and I promise her that if we can’t find them she’ll find a new family to love. Her tail wags as we walk and I know she’s optimistic about her future so let’s make sure her happily ever after is just around the corner! Ask for Tigerlily today. Another volunteer writes: Miss TigerLilly may be “older” but carries her weight in play group with all dogs. I’m told she’s awesome with all, and plays well with dogs half her age. GO TIGERLILLY! She solicits play and will be dainty when appropriate. She’s a welcome addition to playgroups as she’s polite and easy. A rockstar! 06/21/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – AVERAGE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Tiger was sociable toward the handler during the assessment – soft body, low wag. She allowed for all handling to be completed with a soft body, however, she began to whine half way through the assessment and began to lose interest in the assessor. She engaged in play for half of the tag interaction but became distracted easily by other stimuli in the room. She had no interest in food, toys, or rawhide. Tiger was brought to the care center as a stray; upon intake her tail was wagging and she was friendly toward staff. Throughout the assessment Tiger remained friendly toward the assessor; however, she was easily distracted and continually whined becoming anxious to leave the room. The Behavior Department believes Tiger can go to an average home that understands she may need some time to become acclimated to new people and environments at her own pace in order for her to relax. Look: 1. Dog’s eyes are averted. Her ears are back, her tail is down and wagging, and she has a relaxed body posture. Dog allows head to be held loosely in Assessor’s cupped hands. Sensitivity: 1. Dog stands still and accepts the touch, her eyes are averted, and her tail is wagging with soft. Dog’s mouth is likely closed for at least a portion of the assessment item, lip lick. Tag: 2. Dog assumes play position and joins the game. Half way through the game, dog becomes distracted by other stimuli in the room other than the assessor. Squeeze 1&2: 2. Dog quickly pulls back her paw. Food. No interest. Toy 1. No interest. Rawhide 1. No interest. Dog – dog 2. Dog approaches helper dog with tail at spine level, body not stiff, ears relaxed, and lip neutral

06/23/2015 GROUP BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – AVERAGE
Exam Type GROUP BEHAVIOR
When off leash with other dogs, TigerLily engages in some gentle and dainty play and will solicit for play. She is social and responds appropriately to corrections. 6/24 update: Tigerlily is social, engaging in brief bouts of play. She will offer appropriate corrections.
