DEC 2015
A volunteer writes: ‘Wow, he’s gorgeous’, exclaimed a passerby as Thunder and I walked to the park. He sure is! He’s also good on the leash, housetrained, ignores other dogs we pass and is simply a dream. Surrendered by his person as he’s not allowed in his former owner’s new apartment, we’re told that he knows ‘sit’ in both English and Spanish, is very housetrained and will bark or whine at the door when he needs to go out, has been with kids 7yo and older and is playful and relaxed with them and loves to play. He’s scared of loud noises and will try to hide, and likes to sleep in his own bed. I loved spending time with this gorgeous boy. He’s gentle, well behaved, showed me his sit, joined me on the bench for some kisses, gave me stand up hugs, loved playing with a plush toy. In group with the helper dog he needed time to get comfortable and then briefly engaged in play. He’s an absolute delight, a social well behaved and stunning pup who’s ready to begin his happily ever after with a new family. Run, don’t walk, to meet him today.

She pulls hard on the leash also he showed a low threshold for what appears to be sexual arousal and consistently tried to mount the Assessor before Tag. He needs a significant amount of exercise, mental stimulation and training. The behavior department feels that he may do best with an experienced adopter. We also recommend a home without young children; older children can be considered pending interaction.

He then slowly begins to warm up, offering a play bow. He may attempt to mount as well. 12/22: Thunder offers polite greeting, is tolerant of play solicitation, then attempts to mount.
