06/03/2015 WEB MEMO
A staff member writes: Theodore is the whole package! He has been around children and plays nicely with them. He is overjoyed when seeing other dogs and will play bow trying to get any dog to rally with him. As soon as he steps outside, he takes a minute to relieve himself, so he is most likely house trained. Seeing the leash in your hand makes him very happy. He knows it is time for a walk. He is such a polite gentleman though, and will sit while you open the kennel door. On the elevator ride, he pushes his body against my legs just to make sure I’m still by his side. All this big hunk wants is a human best friend that will include weekly dog park visits into their schedule. Could that be you? A volunteer writes: This is one pup who sure knows how to rock his bowtie! From the moment he sat in his kennel to be leashed, I knew Theodore would be a rockstar, and he didn’t disappoint. I was even prepared to shorten his name to Theo, but anyone who is this debonair must be Theodore! He’s gorgeously groomed, seems to be housetrained, gives delicious kisses, sits for treats which he takes gently, is playful with a ball and retrieves it for another throw, and rolls into my legs for some petting. Nothing could stop us from enjoying our time together, even an unusually cold and stormy afternoon — actually all the better to cuddle in. Just the right amount of low key energy, coupled with the right amount of affectionate in my lap kisses, and I was in love. You will be too, as soon as you meet him, so don’t wait too long. He’s awesome and he’s ready to show you just how much.
