Teddy is a whole lot of awesome. He needs to be on the cover of a doggy calendar now. Such a gorgeous little Yorkie, all it takes is one look and you’ll understand he needs to be yours forever. This little guy will do well in both new and experienced dog owners and as an owner surrender was reported to have played gently with both children and adults. Teddy was also reported to be a super calm and affectionate dog. He really is a perfect little Yorkie and you’ve gotta meet him today at MACC.

BEHAVIOR 5/17/15:
Teddy came to us as an owner surrender on 5/15/15. It is reported he has lived with young children and plays gently with both children and adults. Owner also reports he knows many commands in both English and Spanish, though did not state which ones. During intake, Teddy was shy but friendly and allowed admissions counselor to leash and photograph with open mouth and wagging tail. Teddy held gaze for three full seconds during Look item, but with cautious body. He accepted touch for Sensitivity item, tail down and body neutral. Teddy had no response to both Squeeze attempts. He lifted his head and ceased eating when approached by assess-a-hand during Food item. Teddy had no interest in toys or rawhide during assessment, but owner reports he loves squeaky toys. During social time with other dogs in the yard Teddy interacted with other dogs briefly and then wandered away. The Behavior Team feels Teddy would do well in an Average home.
